Washing and Conditioning

• Frequency: Wash your wig every 7-10 wears or as needed.

• Products: Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner specifically formulated for wigs. Avoid products containing harsh chemicals.

• Method: Gently detangle the wig with a wide-tooth comb before washing. Submerge it in cool water and apply shampoo, gently lathering. Rinse thoroughly. Apply conditioner and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing again.

• Drying: Gently squeeze excess water from the wig. Avoid rubbing or twisting. Place it on a wig stand to air dry.

• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Steer clear of products containing alcohol, chlorine, or other harsh chemicals.

• Swimming: If you must swim while wearing a wig, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water afterward to remove chlorine.

• Regular Maintenance: Consider taking your wig to a professional stylist for regular maintenance and cleaning to ensure its longevity.

• Heat Styling: Use low heat settings on your styling tools and apply heat protectant products to prevent damage.

• Detangling: Always detangle your wig gently with a wide-tooth comb or wig brush to prevent shedding and breakage.

• Storage: When not in use, store your wig on a wig stand to maintain its shape. Avoid storing it in a damp or hot environment.
